 A great tonneau cover at an affordable price June 13, 2007

When I was searching for a tonneau cover for my Nissan Titan, I wanted something that was easy to use, durable, secure, and easily removed should I need to use my entire truck bed. The Extang Trifecta cover was a perfect fit for my requirements.
I didn't want to spend upwards of $900 on a fiberglass cover that was heavy and not easily removed and stowed if I needed my entire bed. The same applied to a rolling cover that was well over $1000. I also didn't want a "cheap" tonneau that snapped down on all sides since it wasn't very secure... not to mention I didn't want to deal with all those little snaps each time.
The Extang Trifecta is great. It folds up in 3 sections and can be secured in the open position allowing me to use 2/3 of my truck bed which is more than enough for anything that won't fit under the closed cover. The beauty part is if I need the entire bed, the Trifecta simply un-clamps from the front of the bed and it can be stowed in the bed on its side or even inside the cab if I need to. It's light, durable, and it looks fantastic on my truck. Since there are no snaps, the edges are smooth and finished, making it look very expensive even though it wasn't!
Another benefit is since my tailgate locks, I am able to secure cargo under the cover and the cover cannot be opened without opening the tailgate. It is more of a deterrent to would-be thieves. It is true someone could cut the fabric and gain access, but like I said the mere fact of it being closed with the tailgate locked is a good enough deterrent.
Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone not wanting to spend big bucks on a tonneau cover but at the same time wants a great-looking, durable, and semi-secure tonneau cover.
